So it's only Day 2 of my Diligence chart and already I am finding that some things are easy and some things are harder to accomplish every day. Here's the way it looks:
You see I missed the gym today and I also didn't make a goal.
This morning I felt horrible. My back and neck were in extreme discomfort and getting up and going to the gym were the last things on my mind. Actually, they WERE on my mind because of this chart but I rationalized that I would go later in the day. Well obviously that never happened.
I'm finding that making a goal every day is kind of difficult too. What kind of goal should I make? This seems simple enough but I'm finding it tough. Should it be something like; Work today at 100%? Make sure all my boxes are checked today? Do one random act of kindness? Anyone reading can feel free to chime in.
Being George Washington is a blog chronicling my journey of becoming more like The Indispensable Man, President George Washington. It is a daily account of my experiences. They are my successes and my failures and all the changes that I have made along the way. Will I be successful taking on the traits of George Washington, becoming a leader of men and becoming a better person overall? My honest answer is that I don't know, but I'm going to give it my best shot.
